January 14-18th
We are officially entering into the final week of the second quarter! Here is a look at what we will be learning...
*Language Arts and Reading: Due to both the MAPs testing and high number of absences last week,we delayed the implementation of the Language! program until this week. We will be completing the pretests on Monday and Tuesday and begin using the program the remainder of the week!
*Math: We will continue with measurement this week in math. We will be reviewing early in the week, since many student missed lessons.
*Science: We will read Chapters 4-6 in our Biome/Ecosystems book and learn about the grassland and desert and review the forest and taiga. Friday we will complete a river experiment, where we will create a river and hypothesize about how the river will flow. We will also discuss how rivers affect those people, animals, and plants that surround them.
Have a great week!
