Here is a preview of our curriculum for next week!
*Language Arts/Reading: Since the students did not have the opportunity to finish their fiction stories last week, they will be using in-class time to work on them Monday (and possibly Tuesday). We also we spend time each day practicing/completing activities with the short vowel sounds.
*Math: Wednesday, we will have a quiz on telling time. We will review both Monday and Tuesday. The week will wrap up with reviewing our math facts.
*Science: This entire week, students will be creating their own constellation. In addition to designing the constellation, the students will be required to create their own myth about the constellation. On both Monday and Thursday, the students will also be joining Mr. Urbas's 8th period class to explore the Constellation Dome that he will have in his classroom this week.
*Social Skills: With our trip to the Promenade quickly approaching, we will be role playing a few of our learner expectations for this trip: Asking for Help When Needed & Returning Items.
